The Military Prosecutor’s Office is investigating members of Vannacci’s party

‘Preliminary investigations’ by the Rome Military Prosecutor’s Office into the ‘role of members of the Armed Forces within the organisational structure of Futuro Nazionale’ – the party founded by former General Roberto Vannacci – following a complaint lodged yesterday by the Military Trade Union.

The military prosecutor’s office has ordered an investigation to be launched to ascertain, as stated in a note signed by the prosecutor Marco De Paolis, ‘whether there are any facts falling strictly within its remit in relation to persons subject to military jurisdiction’.
