The first effects on petrol and diesel prices of the surge in oil prices arrived this morning after the US and Israeli attack on Iran and the response of Tehran.
This was emphasised by Staffetta Quotidiana in a note explaining that 'while the impact on Brent has so far been limited (+6.7 per cent), that on gasoil has been disruptive: the price has risen by more than 16 per cent, reaching a level last reached on 14 February 2024, more than two years ago, while the price of petrol has been at its highest since 23 June 2025'.
This has triggered a round of increases in the recommended price lists of the major brands, the effects of which on national averages of pump prices will be fully seen tomorrow.
According to the usual Staffetta Quotidiana survey, Eni has increased the recommended prices of petrol and diesel by four cents per litre. ForIP we register an increase ofthree cents on petrol and six on diesel.
For Q8 +5 cents on both products, for Tamoil +3.
