Recordati: CVC and GBL increase their stake to 74.58 per cent through take-up of the takeover bid and purchases on the open market

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Nothing is official yet, but according to financial sources, CVC and GBL are said to hold around 74.58 per cent of the share capital of the pharmaceutical giant Recordati (excluding treasury shares). This figure is arrived at by adding together the shares tendered in response to the takeover bid, launched via the Respighi vehicle, and the shares acquired gradually on the open market. The two funds have thus exceeded the 66 per cent threshold required to control the extraordinary general meeting for a potential reverse merger or delisting.
