Reda celebrates 160 years of excellence in the textile world

On the occasion of the 41st edition of Milano Unica, Reda celebrates its 160th anniversary, a milestone that represents more than a century and a half of excellence in the textile world. In continuity with the previous edition, the company is present in Hall 2, stand C11, with an immersive space that narrates the evolution of its two souls: the sartorial classicism of Reda 1865 and the innovative spirit of the Active line.
For the Fall/Winter 2026-27 season, Reda presents two new projects that confirm the Biella-based wool mill's ability to combine innovation, research and sartorial creativity.

Milleottocentosessantacinque: evoluzione di un'idea, molteplicità di visioni
After presenting in February the concept of a single fabric capable of adapting and evolving through creativity, Reda 1865 continues with the Milleottocentosessantacinque project. If last season the focus was on a single outfit, designed to tell the story of a garment reinterpreted in a contemporary key, today the tale is layered, maintaining consistency but broadening the vision.

The Reda 1865 collection confirms the versatility of the 2865 fabric, now proposed in the new tones Aubergine, Selciato and Copper. The core remains unchanged: a single fabric, capable of adapting and transforming with elegance. But this season brings with it a new perspective, in which the fabric is declined in three different outfits, expressions of three ways of being and three paths of life, which will be presented exclusively on the first day of Milano Unica. Going beyond the classic jacket-pants logic, the fabric opens up to multiple contexts of use, narrating the contemporary man, his multiple identities, his relationship with time, with gesture, with thought. With a rounded and fluid hand, uncreased and deeply chromatic thanks to the dyed tops processing, the fabric also stands out for its technical performance, enhanced by the ROICA™ stretch fibre, which enhances its sustainability and functionality.

For this season Reda also renews its collaboration with Pietro Terzini, who continues to reinterpret the Milleotto centoosessantacinque project in a contemporary key. His visual language accompanies and amplifies the story of the collection, reinforcing the link between textile heritage and avant-garde creativity.

Reda Active: the M15 project that revolutionises the concept of fine wool
What if wool no longer meant tradition, but revolution? Reda Active presents M15, an avant-garde project that introduces, for the first time, fabrics in 15 micron Merino wool, a quality of extraordinary fineness usually used for tailored formalwear, in a collection designed to redefine the concept of technical luxury. This is the first capsule collection of THE GOAT - Greatest Of All Textiles, the Reda project dedicated to the most extraordinary and excellent fabrics.

M15 proposes an ultra-lightweight, versatile shuttle fabric designed for multiple uses: from shirting to suits to outerwear. To complete the proposal, two 15 micron Merino wool jerseys in different weights, ideal as first and second layers, extremely ductile and functional. The new jersey combines fine touch and advanced performance: thermoregulation, anti-odour properties, natural elasticity and total easy care. Right from the initial stages of the production process, targeted technical research has guided each step, with the aim of obtaining a final result capable of transforming a noble material into a surprising fabric: regular, elastic, performing. Tradition is not followed, but reinterpreted in a radical way, in a dialogue that subverts its codes without repudiating them.

M15 represents the perfect balance between performance and tailoring: a high-end interpretation of technical comfort that expands the boundaries of the active wardrobe.
