Referendum, business appeal: justice important for the economy, go vote
Document of Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, Confartigianato, Confcooperative, Confcommercio and Confindustria
"Justice is also an issue for the economy. Participating in the vote is important'. This is the message contained in a letter from Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, Confartigianato, Confcooperative, Confcommercio and Confindustria on the importance of participating in the vote for the referendum on 22 and 23 March. 'Let us participate in the vote, to take care of the quality of the institutions and actively contribute to the construction of the rules that determine the economic and social development of the country,' the document reads.
"For entrepreneurs, justice is the infrastructure of the production system"
"We believe that it is our duty to go and vote because the referendum is a primary instrument of political participation and direct democracy, through which each person expresses his responsibility as an Italia citizen and, in the case of those who do business, as an entrepreneur. And it is important that citizens, workers and entrepreneurs take part in the vote in an informed manner,' reads the letter, which states that the 'good course of justice is a fundamental public interest enshrined in the Constitution'. Moreover, 'for those who do business, justice is a real infrastructure of the production system, on a par with networks, energy or logistics, essential to ensure maximum efficiency of the system and, consequently, to be able to plan with confidence, innovate, compete and produce wealth for the country'.
