The 'no' vote wins the constitutional referendum on justice, surprisingly by a wide margin. 53.25% sided against the Meloni government's reform, about 15 million voters: almost 2 million more than the 'yes' voters, who stopped at 46.75%. 'No' votes ahead in all regions except Veneto, Lombardy and Friuli Venezia Giulia. Maxi-voter turnout was close to 59%. 'Lost opportunity to modernise Italia but let's go ahead,' was the premier's comment. The Broad Camp celebrated in the square. "An alternative majority is already there," Schlein said, relaunching the primaries together with Conte. The 'togheter' exulted, but Parodi left as president of the Anm.
With voting almost over (before the overseas vote), therefore, the No vote stands at 53.74%, while the Yes vote trails at a distance at 46.26%. The turnout is close to 59% (58.93%). The highest is in Emilia-Romagna (66.7%) and the lowest in Sicily (46.2%).

The yes vote wins only in three regions: Lombardy (53.8%), Veneto (58.3), Friuli Venezia Giulia (54.5%). The no vote prevails in all the others. With peaks in Campania (65%), Sicilia (61%), Sardinia (60%), Tuscany (58%), Emilia Romagna, Liguria and Puglia (57%)

The no vote swept all the big cities: from Rome (60.3%), to Milan (58.3%), to Turin (64.8%). With the record in Naples (75.5%).
