FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda, the great off-road cycling happening, is preparing for its 31st edition under the cry of "Riding freedom", once again with the support of Full Speed Ahead (FSA), which will remain in the spotlight as title sponsor of the event. From 1 to 4 May 2025, more than 200 exhibitors and 400 brands are expected in the EXPO area of Riva del Garda. In addition to being able to admire the novelties and the best products of the leading companies in the world of cycling, visitors - who numbered more than 80,000 in last year's edition - will have the opportunity to test the bicycles of the exhibiting companies on the trails of Garda Trentino: from mountain bikes to gravel bikes, including electric proposals.

The event that opens the off-road cycling season remodels its exhibition area by moving even closer to the lakefront and into a green environment with vegetation and trees to frame the exhibitors' stands. The organisers have worked, in close cooperation with the Municipality of Riva del Garda, on a new Expo area that will start from a large part of the historic space and extend to lap the shores of the lake. The study and design of the new floor plan have been conceived to once again allow exhibitors, visitors and participants to experience the unique and enthralling atmosphere that has been enjoyed for thirty years during Garda Trentino's highlight event on fat-wheeled bicycles. FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda confirms itself as the kick-off to the opening of the bike season in a location that is even more evocative because it is immersed in a green setting, amidst trees and vegetation, and characterised by a closer proximity to the shores of the lake.

"As organisers," said Oskar Schwazer, General Manager of Garda Dolomiti-Azienda per il Turismo Spa, "we look forward to the 31st edition of the Bike Festival with enthusiasm because, after the great success of 2024, we have a lot to offer exhibitors, visitors and race participants. The logistical adaptation of part of the event area will allow us to move even closer to the shore of Lake Garda, enhancing the experience of the 80,000 enthusiasts expected for the event. We look forward to discovering with them the latest industry innovations, testing bikes on the area's trails, and following the races side by side with the world's elite of off-road cycling".

The Future Summit for exhibitors. Exhibitors will not only be able to present their latest products to cycling fans from all over Europe, but will also have the opportunity to take part in the new Future Summit, a B2B panel discussion on the subject of artificial intelligence applied to the cycling industry. For those in the industry, the event held in the days leading up to the opening of the Festival will be an opportunity to hear the views of leading voices in the sector on one of the most interesting topics in the industry today.

Mtb School and EMtb Marathon. Like every year, the FSA Bike Festival in Riva del Garda will not disappoint the expectations of enthusiasts, starting with the four daily guided tours that will depart from the Expo area for those who want to discover Garda Trentino on their bikes. A novelty of the 2025 edition is the MTB School, a technical session in the new Skill Area of the Busatte Park, suitable for cyclists of all levels who want to improve their technique on the trails. Not forgetting the four scheduled races: the Bike Marathon - which from this year, in addition to the three classic races, will also see a new proposal for E-MTB enthusiasts - the MAXXIS Gravel Garda Trentino, the Bosch eMTB Challenge and the Junior Trophy. But above all the heart of the Festival, the test area with over 1,500 mountain bikes, e-mountain bikes, gravel bikes and other bike models. In short, Europe's largest outdoor bike expo!

Bike Marathon and Maxxis Gravel. Like every year, the highlight of the FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda will be the Bike Marathon, the mountain bike race scheduled for Saturday 3 May, starting from the historic centre of Riva del Garda and finishing at the EXPO area. Three routes of varying difficulty will be available to participants. The main race is the Ronda Extrema of 82.77 kilometres and 3,434 metres of altitude difference, on the UCI calendar as a C1 category trial, naturally dedicated to trained bikers, who are also attracted by the possibility of gaining valuable ranking points. The other two routes are aimed at competitors looking for distances and elevation gains within their reach: the Ronda Grande (59.56 km, 2,406 m elevation gain) for experienced cyclists; the Ronda Piccola (30.67 km, 1,065 m elevation gain) for those who want to have fun while enjoying the views of Lake Garda.

In recent years Garda Trentino has also been discovered by gravel enthusiasts, and the third edition of the Maxxis Gravel Garda Trentino, the gravel test with timing over three stages scheduled for Friday 2 May, is aimed at them. Participants can choose between two routes: the first is 100 kilometres with 1,750 m of elevation gain; the second is 65 kilometres with 480 m of elevation gain. Beyond the competitive aspect, the gravel test offers an experience made up of spectacular routes and local specialities to be tasted along the way, combining bicycle adventure with the pleasure of Trentino's regional cuisine and the spirit of the gravel community.
In the coming weeks the rest of the event programme will be defined, which will also give space to the world of pedal-assisted cycling with the eMTB Challenge and to the champions of tomorrow engaged in the Junior Trophy.
