The first phase of the competition 'Call for Ideas - A Vision for Rome', promoted by Fondazione Roma REgeneration saw the participation of 35 multidisciplinary teams composed of 958 professionals from various countries.
A call for a competition of ideas that can design the Rome of the future, making the city increasingly attractive to capital, international and otherwise, the true engine of urban regeneration.
The call was presented in March at the Mipim in Cannes, the international fair dedicated to the real estate market.
Fondazione Roma REgeneration is made up of 12 partners, first and foremost the three founders Dea Capital Re Sgr, Investire Sgr and Fabrica Immobiliare Sgr, which have been joined over the months by Fondazione Roma, FS Sistemi Urbani (Ferrovie dello Stato), Acea, Banca del Fucino, Colliers GI, Cbre, Yard Reaas, Ream Sgr and GreenStone. The call was launched at Mipim to gather interest from the international world as well.
And participation included international studies, Italian and foreign universities, and professionals from different disciplines. The projects presented address issues such as housing, mobility, sustainability, social inclusion and urban regeneration.
