Rottamazione quater, last hours for payments: the deadline is 8 June
The League, meanwhile, is aiming for the reopening of the Riscossione with amendments to the fuel ter decree, expected in the Finance Committee on Tuesday
Last hours to pay the next instalment of the Rottamazione quater, formally due on 31 May but still payable until Monday 8 June. The deadline is shifted due to the five-day grace period provided for by the regulations and the deferments applicable when the due date coincides with non-working days, as specified by Agenzia delle Entrate-Riscossione.
The extension
The extension applies both to regular taxpayers and to those readmitted to the Facilitated Definition, who are required to pay the fourth instalment. For payment, it is necessary to use the forms corresponding to the instalment due, which are available in the reserved area of the Agency's website or can be requested by email from the public area. Enabled channels include banks, post offices, tobacconists, ATMs and counters of the Agency by appointment, as well as online services.
What happens to those who miss the deadline
Failure to pay by 8 June results in forfeiture of the Facilitated Definition plan and loss of its benefits.
The League aims at reopening
At the same time, the current week is relevant on the parliamentary level. The League has filed a package of amendments to the Excise Decree Ter - which will be voted on Tuesday in the Senate Finance Committee. Among the amendments is one on the reopening of the Rottamazione quater, allowing taxpayers who had lapsed on 31 December 2025 to be readmitted by submitting an application by 31 July 2026. Another amendment allows those who did not pay the November and February instalments of the quater, to get back in by paying in a lump sum by 31 July 2026. Finally, another proposal proposes to extend the quinquies amnesty to assessments as well.
