Russia: CIA director met with the secret services, not Putin; ‘positive contacts’

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - CIA Director John Ratcliffe travelled to Moscow yesterday for “intelligence-to-intelligence” talks, without meeting President Vladimir Putin: this was stated today by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Peskov.

"There have been contacts between the intelligence services, but no meeting took place with the Russian president," Peskov told journalists, describing these contacts as "positive" but refusing to comment on the topics discussed.
