Russia: Kremlin says Putin’s attendance at the G20 summit in Miami ‘has not yet been discussed’
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The possible attendance of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Miami has not even been discussed yet. This was stated by presidential adviser Yuri Ushakov in an interview with Izvestia, commenting on the invitation extended to Russia to attend the summit. “As for the possibility of Putin travelling there, the matter has not even been discussed amongst us yet,” said Ushakov, adding that preparations are currently being carried out at a technical level only. “Work is proceeding at expert level. Our team is working continuously on the documents for the upcoming summit. Everything is proceeding as usual,” he explained.
