Sace enters the real estate market with its first operation designed to enhance the value of its real estate assets. It will in fact rent an entire building owned in the centre of Milan to Oriana Homèl, an innovative company in the tourism sector, which combines green living spaces, the services of a hotel and the comfort of a home.
In detail, the building in Via San Maurilio has a gross floor area of 1,600 square metres and will be completely renovated and upgraded to improve its energy class and obtain theLeed Gold certification. It will consist of 17 residential units that will be managed through the formula of short-term rentals for tourist use.
"This project," says Pasquale d'Esposito business developer and promoter Oriana Homèl, "not only reinforces our commitment to innovative and sustainable hospitality, but also allows us to pursue our mission of offering green living spaces, combined with the services of a hotel and the comfort of a home.
"It is with pride that we announce our entry as Sace into the real estate market and we are delighted to be able to start with a partner such as Oriana Homèl, which has redesigned the concept of hospitality in an innovative and sustainable way," says Antonio Frezza, chief marketing, sales Pmi & property management solutions of Sace. "We have a beautiful heritage that deserves to be enhanced and develop its full potential. This is only the first operation of this kind and others will follow. In fact, we are also evaluating valorisation strategies for our properties in Rome'.
"We supported Sace first in analysing the best use of the property and then in the operator search activity. We are confident that Oriana Homèl will know how to make the most of this asset," said Vincenzo Zubbo, head of business development capital markets at Colliers Italia. "This operation shows how institutional investors are increasingly interested in the serviced apartments segment: a nascent trend that is beginning to consolidate in cities such as Milan and Rome.
