Sale of San Siro, public prosecutor investigates for bid rigging
The signing of the deed follows the sale resolution approved by the City Council
On the sale of the San Siro stadium (this morning was signed the deed) the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating for bid rigging. This was reported by Ansa. Just this morning, promoter Claudio Trotta, one of the founders of the committee Sì Meazza, was heard by prosecutors Paolo Filippini, Giovanna Cavalleri and Giovanni Polizzi. In an open letter to the mayor, Trotta had revealed that he, along with other live show operators, had wanted to bid for the stadium, but that it had been impossible to take part in the municipality's call for bids due to the tight timetable.
