Sanremo 2024 gets underway: it starts with Clara

Sanremo starts with Sanremo Giovani: it is Clara, the winner of last December's edition admitted by right to the actual competition, who opens the 74th edition of the Song Festival. On the first evening, hosted by artistic director Amadeus and last year's winner Marco Mengoni, all 30 songs in the competition are performed, judged by the press room alone.

Rain, Bunker 44, Gazzelle, Dargen D'Amico, Rose Villain, Santi Francesi, Fred De Palma, Maninni, Alfa, Il Tre. Closing at two o'clock. On the next two evenings, however, the radio jury and the televote will cast their votes. All voting components will then be in play on Friday and Saturday. Guest of the evening will be world ski champion Federica Brignone.
