Edited by Francesco Prisco
Saturday 28 February at the Ariston is the scene for the grand finale of the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival. It starts at 20:40 with an expected end time of 02:10. On stage the co-hostess, with Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini, is Giorgia Cardinaletti, the leading face of Tg1. The guest comedian is Nino Frassica. The super-host is Andrea Bocelli, whose presence at the Festival, seven years after his last appearance, ideally closes the tribute to Pippo Baudo: it was "Superpippo", together with Caterina Caselli, who first believed in the young Tuscan talent, offering him the limelight of the Festival and launching an extraordinary career. It is therefore impossible not to evoke Con te partirò, presented at Sanremo in 1995 and which has become one of the most recognisable Italian songs in the world. Bocelli, who also represented Italia at the last Games in Milan Cortina 2026, will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Romanza, an album with over 20 million copies sold worldwide. Bocelli will receive the Città di Sanremo lifetime achievement award. He will appear on stage at 22:14.
The 30 Big singers return to the stage: to judge them, the public with the Televote (34%), the Press, TV and Web Jury (33%) and the Radio Jury (33%). The top five songs in the ranking are announced in no particular order, and the result is aggregated with the votes in the First Evening and the combined result of the votes in the Second and Third Evenings, thus determining an overall ranking.
Here is the list of performances in the line-up with their release times:
01 - FRANCESCO RENGA "Il meglio di me" 20:45
02 - CHIELLO 'I always think of you' 20:50
