The importance of the authorities' contribution to the defence of citizens' rights, especially in their capacity as savers, is an issue of great importance also with a view to safeguarding private savings. In fact, it can happen that precisely because citizens are not aware of this possibility, they give up making their case against intermediaries. In reality, there are simple and inexpensive ways to do so, such as appeals to financial sector arbitrators.
In order to illustrate these topics in a discursive manner, a live web broadcast will take place on Monday 1 July on the website and on the social channels of Il Sole 24 Ore (Linkedin, Facebook, Youtube and X/Twitter). The live broadcast will be conducted by Antonio Criscione, journalist of Plus 24, and will be attended by Gianpaolo Barbuzzi (President Acf-Consob) and Margherita Laura Cartechini (Head of Customer Protection Service at the Bank of Italy).
