Security: from Lombardy to Tuscany, Sicuritalia is looking for 400 security guards
Recruitment will take place throughout Italia. Transport is one of the sectors most affected: the recruitment drive will focus on Venice and Treviso airports, the railway stations in Bologna and Milan, and railway lines and depots.
From Lombardy to Tuscany, the Sicuritalia Group is looking for 400 security guards who will be deployed primarily to strengthen security in the transport sector, at railway stations, transport hubs and airports. The roles will be on a permanent basis, following a dedicated onboarding programme during which new recruits will receive specific support to obtain a firearms licence and the prefectural decree authorising them to work as security guards, should they not already hold these. Indeed, a willingness to carry a firearm is an essential requirement. To apply, candidates must be of legal age, hold EU citizenship and have no criminal record. They must also meet the legal and psychological/aptitude requirements for the role.
The Sicuritalia Group is Europe’s second-largest private operator, with revenues of 800 million euros and 18,000 employees, and provides security services across a wide range of sectors, from credit to transport. Recruitment will take place throughout Italy, with a particular focus on central and northern Italy: among the opportunities available are 200 positions in Lombardy, 70 in Veneto, 50 in Emilia-Romagna and 50 in Tuscany. The remainder are spread across Piedmont, Liguria and the city of Rome.
The new appointments will be in the healthcare sector, at hospitals in the provinces of Milan, Brescia and Bergamo, as well as at healthcare facilities in Tuscany. A significant proportion of the new roles will be in the transport sector, at Venice Marco Polo Airport, Treviso Antonio Canova Airport, Milan Central and Bologna Central stations, as well as on trains and at railway depots. Further recruitment will take place in the private sector, including technology firms in Lombardy, food companies in Emilia-Romagna, and chemical and pharmaceutical firms in Tuscany.
At the same time, Sicuritalia is also launching a recruitment drive for security staff – unarmed security personnel – primarily for large retail chains, and for operations centre specialists, particularly for its Milan office.
