Medicine, second appeal: 46,000 retake physics exam
There are 46,868 students enrolled in physics, more than chemistry (42,658) and biology (39,093). The results of this second test will be known before Christmas

An inverse situation compared to the first roll call. For the second attempt to enter the Faculty of Medicine on 10 December, the physics test is the one with the most entrants. There are 46,868, compared to 42,658 for chemistry and 39,093 for biology.
First Appeal numbers
The average for the first appeal was slightly higher: at physics 53,033 booked, at chemistry 53,433 and at biology 53,504.
First test results
The reversal is due to the more critical results in physics at the first appeal. In some universities, the exam was passed by just over 15% of those booked.
In general, the first test showed that 22-23% of the candidates scored at least 18 in two out of three examinations. In other words, about one in five students managed to pass two tests.
Considering the approximately 50 thousand participants, we are talking about 11 thousand students who have passed at least two examinations. The hypothetical risk, it has been pointed out from several quarters, is that if not enough students manage to pass the tests tomorrow, there will be more places than students, and it would be the first time this has happened.
