There would be a 45-year-old man living in Scandicci (Florence) behind the site Phica.eu, which ended up at the centre of the scandal of stolen photos also of politicians, influencers and actresses. The news was published by Domani, which reveals the name of the man, Vittorio Vitiello, on whom the investigation is allegedly focusing. Born in Pompeii and owner of a small company in Italy since 2023, Vitiello is therefore, according to the investigation, the administrator of the site. He allegedly hid behind the nicknames 'Phicamaster' and 'Bossmiao' to anonymously manage the platform, which relied on foreign servers. The 45-year-old has already been heard in Florence after the complaint filed by the mayor Sara Funaro. Photos of the first citizen, together with those of other political figures, had ended up on the Phica.eu site with sexist and vulgar comments.

The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office is moving towards a maxi-investigation

A maxi-investigation is moving towards the sexist websites affair. The prosecutors in Rome are waiting for an initial report from the Postal Police concerning the Phica.eu platform, where political pictures, influencers and actresses were also published, and it cannot be ruled out that the magistrates may include everything in the investigation already opened on the 'My Wife' group for revenge porn. The proceedings will be coordinated by Deputy Prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini. It cannot be ruled out that other proceedings on sexist websites will also be merged into the Rome file at a later date.

Funaro: good news from investigation

"This is good news, we are waiting for the outcome of the investigation, but in the meantime I would like to thank all the institutional levels that are working for the speed with which they have identified the alleged perpetrator. I filed a complaint not only for me but for all women. And I invite everyone to do so when similar incidents occur. Denounce, do not keep silent, do not let serious and shameful facts like this remain silent. It is violence, even when it happens in that still too unregulated and uncontrolled world like the web. We must all be aware of this. And not be afraid or ashamed to make our voices heard. It is those who commit these unworthy acts who should be ashamed'. Thus Funaro on the outcome of the investigation into the sexist website.
