A man opened fire and was immediately arrested
Shots were fired in front of the parliament in Belgrade where tents of the protesting students have been camping in a park for months. One injured person is in serious condition.
A man opened fire, who was immediately arrested, as reported by the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar. Coincidentally, the minister added, only one person was injured, as the attacker fired several shots before starting a fire in the tent area.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called what happened this morning in front of the parliament in Belgrade a 'grave act of terrorism'. Immediately after the shot was fired, one of the tents caught fire, with the fire quickly put out by the fire brigade.
Vucic announced his public speech on the episode, and for this reason he left an official ceremony at the Serbian Palace.
