Sinner is the most fan-favoured tennis player in the Atp Awards
The Italian chosen for the third consecutive time by the fans, Bolelli and Vavassori the favourite pair in the doubles, Alcaraz awarded for sportsmanship
Once again in 2025 he is the most fan-favoured tennis player at the Atp Awards: Jannik Sinner, for the third year in a row, takes the lead in a special award, that of the sport's fans' hearts. And he immediately thanks them on Instagram for choosing him and for the support they make him feel on court, promising to prepare himself in the best possible way for next year.
The South Tyrolean thus joins Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori as the most popular doubles pair. The other Atp Awards went to Juan Carlos Ferrero and Samuel Lopez, honoured as coach of the year, to Carlos Alcaraz, chosen for sportsmanship, to Valentin Vacherot for the revelation of 2025 (the Monegasque surprised everyone with his triumph in Shanghai). Finally, Andrei Rublev is the winner of the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award.
Sinner has entered the Atp Awards since 2019, when he was named 'rookie of the year'. Then, in 2023, a double award: for the most improved player and the most loved. The following year, once again the fans' favourite, who for 19 years in a row had chosen Roger Federer (from 2003 to 2021, a sequence interrupted in 2022 by Rafa Nadal).
