Jannik Sinner is in the quarter-finals of the Internazionali d'Italia tennis tournament. The Italian defeated Argentina's Francisco Cerundolo 7-6 (7-2), 6-3. Match divided into two parts: in the first set Sinner won the break in the 5th game, but then lost the serve in the next round.

In a situation of perfect parity, the tiebreak was inevitable, in which the Italian climbed higher and higher and closed with 7-2.
