Sinners

The film everyone is talking about. Passed slightly under the radar in Italian theatres last year, 'The Sinners' - to everyone's surprise - achieved a record number of nominations in Oscar history, with 16 nominations, a number never reached by any film. The story follows the adventures of two twin brothers who, after living troubled lives, decide to return to their hometown to start over and leave their dark pasts behind them.

But upon their return, they discover that an even greater and more terrifying evil awaits them, ready to welcome them into a nightmare that goes far beyond the demons they thought they had left behind. Mixing genres - from westerns to horror - this curious and fascinating film, albeit overrated by the Oscars with a truly sci-fi number of nominations. Will it be enough to overtake the favourite 'One Battle After Another'?
