Sirti, Vodafone Qatar joins subsidiary Mena

Sirti Digital Solutions, the tech company of the Sirti Group, opens a new phase in its history in the Middle East. As verified by Il Sole 24 Ore, Vodafone Qatar (which has Vodafone Foundation and Qatar LLC as major shareholders at 45%) has entered the capital (at 51%) of the local subsidiary Sirti Mena, facilitating the launch of a strategic joint venture. The aim is to accelerate the adoption of advanced digital infrastructure in the country, at a time when technological transformation is increasingly linked to artificial intelligence

The collaboration moves along a broad perimeter: data centres, smart infrastructures, networking, cybersecurity, IoT and data. An end-to-end approach that covers the entire project lifecycle, from design to operational management, with the ambition of accompanying the transition from the digital economy to the AI economy. For the Sirti group, this is the culmination of a journey that began in Qatar in 2013 and is now consolidated by a leading industrial partner. As part of the joint venture, Sirti Digital Solutions will further strengthen its positioning as a strategic enabler of advanced infrastructure solutions in the local market, leveraging on distinctive technological capabilities and an end-to-end approach in the development of innovative projects in data centres and smart infrastructures, networking, cybersecurity, IoT and data
