An experience born from the idea of creators (until then 'singers' of their own travels, who decide to make the big leap by transforming themselves into tour operators), which starts in the worst period (early 2020, with the explosion of the Covid emergency), but with the return to the 'new normality' regains altitude, with booming turnover from one year to the next and even pushing beyond borders, internationalising in Spain

For SiVola, a leading Italian travel tech company in the group travel market, a new phase begins, with a bet beyond national borders. Born in Trani in 2019 from an idea of the five most followed travel influencers in Italy and a sixth member of the founding team specialising in tourism - Carlo J. Laurora, Stefano Cantarini, Nicolò Balini, Claudio Pelizzeni, Daniel Mazza and Giovanni Peluso - SiVola has travelled around 10 thousand passengers in 2023 alone, with a financial year that closed with revenues of 23.6 million euros, up 131% compared to 2022. The destinations are the most diverse and evocative: from safaris to the great parks of the United States, via the Japan of the flowering cherry trees.

"The year 2023 was strongly positive, the results we achieved show the great attractiveness of our offer, despite the fact that it was a year characterised by numerous economic and geopolitical challenges worldwide," comments Sergio De Luca, ceo of SiVola. "We recorded a significant growth in revenues compared to 2022, also thanks to the recovery of the sector and the renewed desire of people to travel post-pandemic, testifying to a business model that sees us in profit since the first year of activity."

After the positive results of 2023 and with a team of 200 coordinators and staff, today SiVola is preparing to embark on its internationalisation journey by opening up, for the first time, to a foreign market: Spain. SiVola's offer for the Spanish market is in line with the Italian one: formula with flights included and the use of local agencies that deal with tourism, preferring small destination managers to large corporations.

The opening on the first foreign market, the company confirmed, marks the beginning of SiVola's internationalisation path, which, in the long run, plans to expand into other European markets as well.
