It is called the Skoda show car and anticipates the Czech brand's future 100% electric compact SUV. Unveiled in Munich at a Volkswagen Group side event at the IAA Mobility, the Skoda Epiq will be unveiled as a production version in mid-2026. Built at Volkswagen's Navarra plant in Spain as part of a joint development and production project that will see the birth of the Electric Urban Car Family (EUCF) along with compact electric models under the Volkswagen, Cupra and, according to unconfirmed rumours, Seat brands, the final Skoda Epiq will have a range of more than 420 kilometres and a starting price similar to that of the Skoda Kamiq of around 25,500 euros.

Skoda Epiq electric dimensions

.

While we wait to see the technical data sheet of the final model, the Skoda Epiq show car claims a length of 4.1 metres, making it suitable for those looking for a compact SUV with dimensions designed for city traffic. The Epiq is the first Škoda model to adopt the new Modern Solid design language right from the start, both inside and out. The matt Cashmere paintwork is matched by the glossy black Tech-Deck Face, framed by T-shaped LED daytime running lights and direction indicators. As stated by Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Skoda Auto: "The Epiq show car offers a concrete look at the next member of the successful 100% electric Škoda family. It embodies the essence of Škoda: a modern, solid design, a spacious interior with a small footprint, intuitive and easy-to-use digital interfaces and Simply Clever details that guarantee a seamless experience and, above all, an attractive price. With the Epiq, we are taking another step towards making electric cars a practical and compelling choice for everyday drivers."
