FS: some unions are on strike today and tomorrow; possible knock-on effects

Staff at the FS Italiane Group will be affected by a strike called by a number of independent trade unions from 9.00 pm today, Thursday 23rd, until 9.00 pm tomorrow, Friday 24 July. The company has issued this reminder, noting that the effects – in terms of cancellations and delays – may occur even before the strike begins and continue beyond the scheduled end time.

As regards regional transport – the statement reads – the essential services provided in the event of a strike on weekdays are guaranteed: from 6 am to 9 am, and from 6 pm to 9 pm on Friday 24 July. Trenitalia, bearing in mind the possible impact on services, advises passengers to check before travelling to the station.
