On the day the AW 26-27 catwalk shows start, a special issue of Il Sole 24 Ore with analysis, interviews and news from the companies
Back on 24 February, to coincide with the start of Milan Fashion Week (which will present the collections for Autumn-Winter 2026-27 until 2 March) and as a supplement to Il Sole 24 Ore, the Speciale Moda Donna (Women's Fashion Special), 28 pages with news, analysis and in-depth reports on the industry.
At the beginning, Giulia Crivelli's analysis of the year's prospects: in 2025, the turnover of the Italian fashion system fell by 2.7%, but in the last quarter of the year there were widespread signs of recovery. This is followed by a page of analysis on retail scenarios: Selvane Mohandas du Menil, director of the International Association of Department Stores, shares the latest trends in the sector, after the crisis that led to the closure of Saks Global; another in-depth analysis is devoted to the success of outlets, also looking at new projects on the way.
