Sports cars: here are the models that still excite
There are vectors that lead from one place to another while others are also capable of arousing feelings that go far beyond mere mobility

The car has revolutionised mobility, but it has also become a status symbol. However, for the enthusiasts, there are cars that are also able to arouse emotions, to provoke that smile on the lips that comes from the heart. There are now fewer and fewer of these models, but they are there. And, indeed, there are also electrified cars that, thanks precisely to the power of the electrics, are able to have an incredible drive that surprises and excites, such as the new 911 T-Hybrid or the Revuelto that exceeds 1000 hp. Here then is a selection between the classic and the innovative of five sporty and emotional cars.
Mercedes AMG GT 63 4Matic+ Coupé
Aesthetically elegant and with a large, very aggressive grille that suggests really interesting performance. The second-generation AMG-GT features a 2+2 configuration that can accommodate up to four people on board, obviously in the rear the passengers are a bit cramped. While there is plenty of space in the boot, which has a load capacity of 321 to 675 litres. The body is made of a lightweight aluminium composite structure that forms a dynamic and precise base for the car. Also helping is the active aerodynamics, consisting of numerous airflow-optimising elements that are perfectly integrated into the exterior design.Under the large bonnet is the twin-turbo AMG V8 with two twin-scroll turbochargers. The AMG-GT 63, the first on the market, has 585 hp (430 kW) and 800 Nm of torque for acceleration that makes your back glue to the seat. In addition, gear changes are always quick and precise thanks to the nine-speed multi-clutch. Traction is managed by an electromechanically controlled clutch that variably links the permanently driven rear axle with the front axle. The best possible torque distribution is calculated continuously: depending on the driving situation, the gear selected and the load applied, the range extends from 100 per cent power to the rear axle to 50/50.
Aston Martin Valiant
.Created to combine the fearlessness of 1970s racing cars with the technology and materials of today's pit lane. Valiant was born from a personal commission from Fernando Alonso to build a car that was a monument to the thrill of driving. Without a hint of restraint. This is a vice in the form of the V12.Valiant is the most extreme front-engined road car ever built by Aston Martin. It is available in a limited series of 38 road-legal examples, but everything it knows it learns from the track. Its aggressive design is optimised for the best possible aerodynamics. The project was born from the collaboration between the Q by Aston Martin customisation department and Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso, who specifically requested this car from the development team and contributed to the technical choices and tuning. Under the bonnet is a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 that now develops 745 hp (30 hp more than the initial 715) and 753 Nm of torque mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, Valiant also features standard carboceramic brakes measuring 410 mm x 38 mm at the front and 360 mm x 360 mm. 32 mm rear for immense braking power without fade.
Porsche 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid
.The 911 Carrera GTS is the first street-legal 911 to be equipped with a super-light, high-performance hybrid system. The Porsche 911 reaches the 992.2 generation. Aesthetically, it is a restyling, where the Zuffenhausen engineers have decided to enhance the differences between the versions more. The new front light clusters allow all the lights to be collected, freeing the bumper completely. The rear light clusters are also different, the position of the number plate and exhaust tailpipes is new, and the air intakes on the rear bonnet are also new. The instrumentation is also new, now digital on a 12.6" curved panel that can be configured as desired, and the possibilities offered by the infotainment system with a 10.9" screen are broader. Integration with Apple Carplay now makes it possible to use the Siri voice assistant to manage some of the car's functions such as climate control and audio. But let's look at the technical innovations: the powerful, lightweight T-Hybrid system is equipped with a newly developed electric exhaust gas turbocharger. Thanks to an integrated electric motor located between the compressor and turbine impeller, the turbocharger quickly reaches optimum operating speed to ensure immediate boost pressure. The electric motor in the turbocharger also acts as a generator, providing up to 11 kW (15 hp) of electrical energy. This energy is extracted from the exhaust gas flow. The electric turbocharger, which is free of a wastegate valve, allows only one turbocharger to be used instead of the previous two, providing a more dynamic and responsive power delivery. At the heart of the T-Hybrid system is a newly developed 3.6-litre boxer engine that is capable of delivering a total system output of 541 hp (398 kW) and 610 Nm of torque, an increase in power over the previous model of an impressive 61 hp (45 kW).
Lamborghini Revuelto
Three electric motors and one heat engine. The latter a 6.5 litre V12 of illustrious lineage. This, in short, is the Lamborghini Revuelto, the Sant'Agata-based manufacturer's first plug-in hybrid that manages to combine the advantages of electric motors with the qualities - and here are all the thrills of the sound - of the 12-cylinder naturally aspirated engine. In total the new Lambo packs over a thousand horsepower, 1,015 hp to be precise.Lamborghini Revuelto, in the intentions of the house of Sant'Agata, takes the baton from the Aventador. The new hypercar is the progenitor of a new species: it is in fact the first Lamborghini plug-in hybrid. Revuelto is electrified in the sense that its electric motors are at the service of insane performance (350 km/h and a zero hundred of 2.5 seconds, while it reaches 200 km/h in 7 seconds) rather than to reduce consumption and environmental impact. The company claims overall CO2 emissions are 30 per cent lower than the Aventador Ultimae, but frankly, the impact of such a car is completely irrelevant in terms of numbers (it costs half a million euros). Lamborghini. The range, in EV mode, provided by the mere 3.8 kWh battery inserted in the tunnel, is only 10 km. Revuelto's powertrain combines a 6.5-litre, 825 hp and 725 Nm V12, named L545, with three electric motors. Two are located on the front axle and with 140 kW and 350 Nm each also assist the all-wheel drive (and are used for reversing). A third electric motor with 110 kW is positioned on the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, (and here there is a technical reference to the legendary Miura) at the rear and transverse.
