Spotify Wrapped 2025, Sfera Ebbasta and Bad Bunny the most listened to of the year
The market-leading streaming platform reveals its annual charts of artists, songs and podcasts. Here in Italy, Sanremo always leads the way

2025, in Italy, crowns Sfera Ebbasta while internationally Bad Bunny excels. They are the most listened to artists on Spotify, the leading streaming platform, according to Wrapped 2025, the campaign celebrating a year of music and podcasts listened to by 713 million users worldwide. As far as podcasts are concerned, here in Italy, Elisa True Crime by Elisa De Marco is in the lead for the third year running, while globally no one is able to challenge the supremacy of The Joe Rogan Experience by Joe Rogan.
In Italy, Sfera Ebbasta rises to the podium
Let's start with music. Urban is confirmed as the dominant genre, at least for those who listen to music via streaming: in first place, after a year, Sfera Ebbasta is back, followed by Shiva, Guè, Geolier and Marracash. Sixth place for Tony Boy, an artist selected in Spotify Radar Italia 2024. The podium of female artists sees Anna in first place for the third year running. Sanremo continues to set trends, as demonstrated by the four songs in the top 10 singles: Balorda nostalgia by Olly in first position, Incoscienti Giovani by Achille Lauro in second, La cura per me by Giorgia in sixth and Battito by Fedez in ninth. Also on the charts were Neon by Sfera Ebbasta and Shiva in third place, the imported hit of our summer La Plena - W Sound 05 by W Sound,Beéle,Ovy On The Drums in fourth and DtMF by Bad Bunny.
Similar scenario in the chart of the most listened to albums, where we find in first place Tutta vita (sempre) by Olly, followed by Dio lo sa by Geolier and Santana Money Gang by Sfera Ebbasta and Shiva. In fourth place comes DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny. Closing out the top 5 is La Bellavita by Artie 5ive.
Bad Bunny takes back the world podium
With almost 20 billion listens worldwide, in 2025 Bad Bunny is again the most listened-to artist in the world, for the fourth time in Wrapped's history, after 2020, 2021 and 2022. Also on the podium is Taylor Swift and then The Weeknd. Drake and Billie Eilish in fourth and fifth position. Among the most listened to songs worldwide in 2025, the most popular was Die With A Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, with over 1.7 billion listens. In second position comes back Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish, already a 2024 hit, followed by Apt by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. Rounding out the top 5 are Ordinary by Alex Warren and DtMF by Bad Bunny. With over 7.7 billion total plays, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny is the most played album in the world in 2025, followed byKPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) by KPop Demon Hunters Cast in second place and Hit me hard and soft by Billie Eilish in third. Fourth and fifth place go to SOS Deluxe: LANA by SZA and Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter, the third most listened to album in 2024.
