Start-ups, innovation and artificial intelligence in the spotlight at Digithon

Everything is ready for DigithON 2024, which returns from 5 to 7 September in Bisceglie (BT) with a non-stop event dedicated to the world of digital: three days of competition between the most innovative start-ups selected for the marathon, discussions with companies, training and in-depth analysis with leading names from institutions and businesses. And with a special focus on the theme of artificial intelligence, which continues to catalyse the international debate.
During the event, on stage together with the creator and founder Francesco Boccia and the president of DigithON Letizia D'Amato will be Minister for European Affairs Raffaele Fitto, Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, MEP and President of the Environment Commission Antonio Decaro, President of the Puglia Region and Vice-President of the Regional Conference Michele Emiliano, President of Confindustria Emanuele Orsini, President of Confindustria Bari and Bat Sergio Fontana, the musical duo Coma_Cose, middle-distance athlete Gaia Sabbatini, physicist, professor and influencer Vincenzo Schettini of 'La fisica che ci piace' (The physics we like), Ida Di Filippo, iconic face of the TV programme Casa a Prima Vista, Apulia Region councillor for economic development Alessandro Delli Noci, journalist and presenter Myrta Merlino, TG1 journalists and presenters Valentina Bisti and Barbara Carfagna, RAI presenter Nunzia De Girolamo, RAI journalist Andrea Vianello, Il Giornale columnist Paolo Giordano, and Enzo Magistà, director of the Norba Group newsroom.
The 2024 edition will make its debut on Thursday 5 September at the Vecchie Segherie Mastrototaro which, from 10 a.m., will open its doors to the start-up competition, welcoming hundreds of finalist inventors from all over Italy, selected from over 300 projects submitted this year to the call for ideas. Letizia D'Amato will kick off the marathon coordinated by Giuseppe Mastrodonato, cto and cofounder DigithON, and Ennio De Iapinis, lawyer and cofounder DigithON with the participation of Raffaele Barberio: each start-up will have 5 minutes to illustrate its pitch and answer the questions of the scientific committee to win the DigithON 2024 trophy.
