Council of State, Chieppa new president of the board of the Magistrates' Association
'Do even better to ensure that citizens and businesses receive clear and reliable answers quickly,' urges the body
Roberto Chieppa has been unanimously elected president of the board of directors of the Association of Council of State Magistrates, vice-president Stefano Filippini, Michele Pizzi secretary general and Angela Rotondano deputy secretary general. The board of directors, reads a note, 'considers it a priority to outline and discuss the programmatic lines of its activity in order to identify suitable interventions to further implement the efficiency of administrative justice. The action of the executive will also be inspired to avoid corporative and self-referential closures and to cultivate a culture of jurisdiction, based on public ethics".
Pnrr targets reached early
.The times of the Italian administrative justice system, the note continues, are already better or at least competitive compared to those of other European countries, especially in the subjects with the greatest impact on society and the economy, and the objectives of eliminating the backlog envisaged by the NRP have been achieved two years ahead of the Plan's deadlines. "These important results do not weaken the need to do even better in order to guarantee citizens and businesses certain and clear answers in a timely manner, and the Board of Directors of the Association of the Magistrates of the Council of State will commit itself in this direction in the conviction that the Council of State , also thanks to the enrichment that derives from the different methods of access and from the different professional skills that make it up, can constitute for the entire administrative judiciary and for the country - concludes the note - a model capable of directing the public administration towards an increasingly efficient service, and to intervene in defence of the citizen in order to prevent power from turning into arbitrariness".
