'Stellantis Philanthropy': the company's community support programme starts in Italy and is set to expand globally
In Europe it is implemented with 40 NPOs and related projects focusing on further education, vocational, digital, environmental and science education, spread over 9 countries. In Italy the programme is developed with 12 NPOs and aims to reach over 17,000 young people in the next three years
Innovative and interdisciplinary teaching
DiNated in the Turin suburbs on the initiative of Next-Level, a third-sector organisation that has been promoting the right to study with innovative and interdisciplinary teaching methods for primary and secondary schools since 2014, the Future Days project almost naturally met with the support of Stellantis, which has committed to a three-year plan."
Xavier Chereau, Stellantis Chief Human Resources and Sustainability Officer, said "Stellantis Philanthropy mirrors who we are and what we believe in. By bringing together our Philanthropy, Motor Citizens and Student Awards initiatives under one shared identity, we confirm our deep commitment to valuing people and supporting education and social progress in all regions. It's about acting with purpose, staying humble and really making a difference, together."
Orientation
Future Days focuses on education and orientation, with the aim of combating school drop-outs and accompanying students to discover the professions of the future, in any region of the world where there is a Stellantis plant. It is an innovative orientation course dedicated to STEM subjects, created to bring together territory, schools, institutions and the world of work, in a single integrated system The objective is to create a new educational ecosystem that, to date, has involved 2,500 students in 28 schools in 6 Italian regions where Stellantis is present, with the support of 150 trained teachers and 95 employees, volunteers in the Stellantis Motor Citizens programme, who have donated over 500 hours of their time.
The key points of the Turin stage
The event was also attended by the children of employees awarded with the Stellantis Student Awards, the company's global scholarship programme for over 30 years, who were actively involved in the workshop activities with the aim of conveying their passion and the need to be an active part of the community. In the afternoon, in fact, they were asked to replicate the workshop activities with the children of employees in secondary schools, thus creating a virtuous circle from generation to generation.
Stellantis and Next Level thus confirm their desire to combat school drop-out in Italy, a phenomenon that is still present today: suffice it to think that only 6% of students from families with low levels of education reach a university degree, while the latest INVALSI 2025 data confirm a significant skills gap in Italian and mathematics, with over 40% of students in the south of Italy below the minimum levels.
