Reliable information, in-depth journalism, new forms of expression and great stories to listen to. This is the programme Radio 24 is offering its listeners from 27 July to 7 September: six weeks of summer programming which reaffirm the distinctive character of the station belonging to the Il Sole 24 ORE Group: combining quality journalism with the ability to innovate formats and experiment with new narrative approaches. Because the joy of understanding and discovering never takes a break.
Alongside live regional news programmes and daily slots dedicated to current affairs and analysis of events, the 2026 summer schedule is enriched with original productions, popular podcasts, educational programmes and narratives that offer different perspectives on contemporary society.
Among the most eagerly awaited new programmes during the week of summer 2026 is the arrival of Paolo Ruffini on Radio 24 with ‘Come stai? And don’t just say ‘I’m fine’, a new daily programme, broadcast Monday to Friday from 6.00 pm, dedicated to listening, discussion, psychological distress and emotional wellbeing. A programme that speaks to listeners but, above all, with the listeners, engaging them through phone calls, messages and personal accounts in an authentic, non-judgemental dialogue. Accompanying Ruffini in each episode will be a psychologist, who will offer insights and food for thought on the issues raised. The project is rounded off with the “Melancholic Interviews”, ten special conversations with some of the most beloved figures in Italian comedy, from Ale and Franz to the PanPers, from Debora Villa to Federico Basso, from Leonardo Manera to Massimo Boldi, including Davide Paniate, Omar Fantini and Michele Basile with Alice Redini, who will share their stories in a more intimate, human and surprising light.
Summer 2026 also marks a new chapter in Radio 24’s multi-channel strategy, which brings to the airwaves some of the most popular podcasts from 24 Ore Podcast, the Group’s hub that brings together all its audio content, further expanding its editorial offering. From That’s America to Geopolitics of Space, to Sharks and Chaos and right through to History Telling, the programme schedule covers topics ranging from international relations to technological innovation, from history to the transformations of contemporary society, to the stories of daring figures in the world of finance, demonstrating how radio can evolve whilst continuing to appeal to diverse interests and audiences.
There will also be a series of programmes dedicated to wellbeing and health, featuring Obiettivo Salute Estatepresented by Nicoletta Carbone, who will offer practical advice and useful tips on how to make the most of the summer season. Special attention will also be given to families and the world of education thanks to contributions from Stefano Rossi, one of the most popular voices in the podcasting world.
