Supplementary pensions: new rules and pensions from July
Available at newsagents on Thursday 25 June with *Il Sole 24 Ore* for a total price of 3 euros
From the first day of next month, the procedures for joining a supplementary pension scheme will change, with the ‘opt-in by default’ mechanism being strengthened in the case of first-time employment or when moving from one company to another.
The changes affect workers, who are expected to be more aware of their rights, and employers, who are required to provide their employees with adequate information. In addition, upon retirement, people will be able to choose from a wider range of pension options than those currently available, whilst from the end of October, employers’ contributions will be transferable when changing jobs, and it will also be possible to withdraw the full amount accrued in as little as five years.
Experts from *Il Sole 24 Ore* analyse all the latest developments in the *Focus Norme e Tributi* supplement, available at newsagents on Thursday 25 June alongside *Il Sole 24 Ore*, for a total price of 3 euros.
