Sustainability and innovation, Infocamere's commitments and the 123 million distributed

Innovation and sustainability. InfoCamere, a company of the Italian Chambers of Commerce for digital innovation, has released its seventh sustainability report. An important effort for the company, which last year distributed a value of EUR 126.5 million to stakeholders, marking a 3.7 per cent increase compared to 2023. 'Continuous dialogue with all stakeholders,' reads the company's sustainability policy document, 'is a fundamental requirement for sustainability and the creation of mutual value. By stakeholders we mean all stakeholders influenced directly and indirectly by the activities carried out by the group'.

On the environmental and energy side, Infocamere achieved interesting results in 2024. The photovoltaic system at the Padua headquarters produced 205,000 kWh of renewable energy, 'helping to reduce CO₂ emissions by more than 102,600 kilograms'.

The reduction in carbon dioxide emissions was also generated by the 'use of smart working policies' that avoided the emission of 318 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. Finally, the InfoCamere Data Centre was awarded the Sustainability Impact Award and also received a positive assessment for data management from the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN).

Other objectives achieved

Last year, Infocamere also achieved important objectives for governance and inclusion. These include the renewal of the Legality rating with the award of the highest score by the AGCM; the confirmation of UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification for Gender Equality; and the renewal of ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.
