Sustainability, Rosolina will host the 5. Sea Summit

"As the Conference of Mayors, we recognise that the modern tourist increasingly seeks to combine rest with psychophysical wellbeing, a need that now precedes market demand itself," explained Roberta Nesto, Mayor of Cavallino Treporti and President of the Conference of Mayors of the Veneto Coastline. "Our vision for the Veneto Coastline is that of a natural health infrastructure capable of responding to this social and economic need through sustainability. We must evolve towards models such as the 'Regenerative Establishment' and the 'Paths of Breathing', making health a resource accessible all year round. The Sea Summit marks the crucial step towards a Mediterranean wellness district, where economic growth goes hand in hand with personal and territorial care".

The programme of this year's Summit will be divided into four thematic pillars. The first is devoted to prevention and natural therapies, with in-depth studies on the role of marine aerosol, thalassotherapy, and the Upper Adriatic microclimate in the prevention of respiratory diseases and stress. The second concerns sport and active longevity, enhancing the coast as a natural gym through activities such as Nordic Walking, cycling and kayaking. The third focuses on food and sea-related wellness, with special attention to the Adriatic diet and local excellence. The fourth pillar explores wellness architecture and urbanism, with a focus on the design of sustainable, accessible and health-oriented spaces.

Alongside the thematic panels, the Summit will offer practical sessions aimed at transforming ideas into concrete projects, including the development of the 'Regenerative Plant', the creation of year-round wellness experiences, the definition of 'Paths of Breathing' and the integration of climate therapy, nutrition and innovative urban design models. The message guiding the entire event is clear and direct. Health is not a seasonal value but a continuous resource, and the Veneto Coast can represent a model of active well-being for twelve months of the year.
