Sustainability strategic lever at the Sole 24 Ore-Vatican Forum

The appointment is set for Wednesday 23 October in Rome. The Forum Sustainability 2024 will be staged on that date. Organised by Il Sole 24 Ore in collaboration with the Holy See, it is one of the key events to analyse the economic impact of sustainability on Italian companies.

The focus of the meeting will be on a fundamental question: how much does non-sustainability cost Italian companies? And how much, instead, can the transition to an economic model based on environmental sustainability represent a strategic lever for future industrial competitiveness.

The goal is to chart a course towards economic growth that makes sustainability not only an ethical value, but also a winning industrial strategy. Precisely because the transition to greener models will be crucial in facing global challenges and ensuring the long-term economic development of our country.

During the Forum, which will be held at the Cinema Barberini in Rome starting at 2.30 p.m., awards will be presented to the winning companies of the third edition of the Sustainable Enterprise Award. The competition, which in 2023 saw the participation of 250 small and medium-sized Italian companies with 15 award-winning companies, aims to recognise the commitment of companies that stand out for their adoption of sustainable practices.

In 2024, the award will be divided into five categories: in addition to the already known Environmental, Digital, Economic and Social Sustainability, a new section has been introduced, Inclusive Sustainability - Design for All, designed to highlight projects that focus on inclusiveness and accessibility.
