Sustainable mobility: Enel's solutions for electric recharging

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP) is one of the main instruments with which Italy is tackling the post-pandemic economic recovery. With funding from the European Union, Italy has received EUR 191.5 billion, a substantial part of which is earmarked for ecological transition and sustainable mobility.

Domestic recharging and public recharging rates 

The Enel portfolio of solutions for electric mobility is broad and diversified.

For domestic recharging, Enel offers the Waybox, a device that allows you to manage recharging independently, optimising time and consumption. The "Waybox Start Cellular 7.4 kW- Sola Consegna", is available with a discount of 50% for all Enel Luce or Gas customers. In addition, by also activating any tariff or subscription for public charging, the customer who purchased the Waybox by 30 September 2025 receives 3 vouchers of 20 kWh each for free.

Enel also offers a wide range of public recharging rates and subscriptions also for all those who prefer to recharge their car away from home, such as the Pay-per-Use rates that offer flexibility with discounts or unlimited recharging. In addition, for the month of July, the Pay-per-Use tariffs are even more advantageous, as the price of charging is discounted: alternating current (AC) charging up to 44 kW is reduced to 0.65 €/kWh (incl. VAT, instead of 0.69 €/kWh), while direct current (DC) fast charging up to 99 kW costs 0.70 €/kWh incl. VAT, instead of 0.79 €/kWh.

 
Enel Drive: the advantages of the electric car with rental
For those who do not own an electric car and want to get closer to this world, Enel Drive, an all-inclusive offer designed to facilitate the transition to sustainable mobility that includes long-term rental of the electric car, the Waybox for home recharging and an electricity offer ideal for home recharging needs. The rental fee also includes 100,000km of mileage, insurance coverage, maintenance and many other services.

In addition, for those who prefer to buy an electric car or who already own one, Enel proposes Enel Drive Fix Luce, an offer that foresees a price of the energy component at 0€ from midnight to 7 a.m., every day and up to 140 kWh/month (equal to approximately 730km of recharging per month). The perfect solution for those who want to recharge their car at home at night. The offer includes a monthly fee of 20€ per month and a Marketing and Sales Charge (CCV) of 12€ per month. In addition, for consumption over the threshold of 140kWh and relating to the other hours of the day, the price of the energy component is 0.162€/kWh.

For those who already have an electric car, the Enel Drive Fix Luce offer is available with the same advantages and includes the Waybox on loan for free use for recharging at home.
