Sym Symphony 200i MY26: technical advancements for urban mobility
The Taiwanese manufacturer is updating its range of high-wheel bikes with a more powerful engine, digital instrumentation, LED lighting and a comprehensive range of standard features.
With the Symphony 200i MY26, Sym aims to enhance the versatility of its high-wheel scooter through a more responsive engine and features designed for everyday use. The larger engine capacity compared to the smaller models in the range delivers greater power, which comes in handy when accelerating, overtaking and travelling outside the city.
The high-wheel configuration features 16-inch rims, which provide better stability and help to cope with uneven road surfaces. The flat footboard is a standard feature, proving practical for urban use as it makes it easier to carry small items.
With the MY6 version, Sym has also updated the in-car interface. The new digital instrument cluster now offers a more intuitive display of information, ideal for keeping all data under control at all times whilst driving. LED indicators have also been added at the front and rear, alongside a redesigned rear light.
The windscreen, fitted as standard, completes the specification. There is also a handy USB socket on board, which is useful for keeping your smartphone charged whilst on the move.
Practicality remains one of the key criteria in the design of the Symphony. The underseat compartment offers additional space for personal belongings, whilst the 33-litre Shad top box, included as standard, increases the load capacity without requiring the separate purchase of an accessory that is often essential for everyday use.
