Tax authorities: the Road Haulage Decree postpones the tax on non-EU mini-parcels until 1 January next year

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - A one-month extension has been granted for the entry into force of the tax on small parcels from outside the EU, which was due to come into force in December. This is provided for in the decree-law containing support measures for road haulage, agriculture and fisheries, according to a press release issued by Palazzo Chigi. The decree, explains the Presidency, “extends the entry into force of the customs duty on low-value consignments from 1 December 2026 to 1 January 2027”.
