Tax advice and simplified communication: the Italian Revenue Agency and INPS meet with businesses in Florence
On Monday 21 September, the roadshow will stop off in the Tuscan capital. The spotlight will also be on hyper-depreciation, IFRS accounting standards and physically demanding work. A joint session will be dedicated to the issue of the illegal supply of labour
Cooperative compliance, hyper-depreciation and the impact of the new IFRS 20 accounting standard, as covered in the Italian Revenue Agency’s in-depth analyses. Simplified communication with businesses, employees’ social security contribution histories, regularisation of employment status and arduous work, as covered in the INPS’s in-depth analyses. A joint session with representatives from the Revenue Agency and the National Social Security Institute will then be dedicated to the illegal supply of labour. These are the topics of the ‘Together for Businesses and Universities’ roadshow, which stops off in Florence on Monday 21 September, hosted by Publiacqua. The event forms part of a series of meetings that began in Rome on 25 June in the presence of senior officials from both organisations and the Deputy Minister for the Economy, Maurizio Leo, and which subsequently continued across the country in Puglia (Casillo Partecipazioni), Piedmont (Intesa Sanpaolo) and Emilia-Romagna (Barilla).

The conference (at the AC Hotel, 5 Via Luciano Bausi) will begin at 9.30 am, with opening remarks from the President of Publiacqua, Nicola Perini, the Deputy Regional Director of INPS, Ilaria Sampugnaro, and the Head of the Large Entities Sector at the Tuscany Regional Directorate, Vincenzo Calizzi. Following a presentation of the company by its Chief Executive, Paolo Saccani, there will be in-depth sessions organised by the Italian Revenue Agency, focusing on hyper-depreciation, collaborative compliance and the new IFRS 20 accounting standard. The INPS, meanwhile, will deliver presentations on simplified communication with businesses, employees’ contribution histories, regularisation procedures and arduous work. A joint session will be dedicated to the issue of illegal labour supply.
Upcoming events at universities
The Florence leg marks the handover between the two pillars of the initiative, which was launched in June in Rome in the presence of senior officials from both administrations and the Deputy Minister for the Economy and Finance, Maurizio Leo. From the end of October, the programme will continue in universities, with the aim of enhancing young people’s understanding of key tax and social security issues as they enter the world of work.
