Techbau, from Intesa Sanpaolo 110 million for a green logistics hub

Intesa Sanpaolo is making EUR 110 million available to Techbau Spa to support the growth plans of the company - a general contractor active in the development of projects in the various fields of civil engineering and infrastructure - for the construction of a logistics hub in the municipality of Alessandria. The project involves the development of an area of about 187,000 square metres, with the buildings covered by photovoltaic systems, and aims to achieve Leed Platinum certification, the highest internationally recognised level in the field of energy sustainability.

"The partnership consolidated over the years with Intesa Sanpaolo allows us to access structured financial instruments to support our development initiatives, accompanying Techbau's growth path and confirming our position as the leading operator in the logistics sector," said Tiziano Cortella, managing director and chief financial officer Techbau Spa. Over the last year, in the logistics sector alone, we have completed 11 developments with a total surface area of 544,975 square metres, of which over 300,000 square metres have already been Leed and Breeam certified".

"Over the past few days," concluded Stefano Cappellari, Intesa Sanpaolo's regional director for northern Piedmont, Valle d'Aosta and Sardinia, "we have brought together entrepreneurs from the north west to relaunch the strategic approach dedicated to extraordinary finance for SMEs. In 2025, Intesa Sanpaolo disbursed €3.2 billion in medium and long-term loans to families and businesses in Piedmont".
