Telepass strengthens its presence in urban mobility
The platform participates in PDays - Mobility and Parking 2026, with its focus on parking services, blue lines, city access and new integrated parking solutions.
In 2025, the Telepass platform strengthened its presence in the territories with new activations in more than 100 cities, especially in services related to parking and blue stripes, bringing to about 5,400 the number of municipalities covered by at least one Telepass service. Participation in PDays is part of a context of evolution in the urban parking market. According to data shared at the event, digital payments for blue stripes will increase from 8% in 2019 to 41% in 2025, expanding digitisation in city mobility services.
Payment of blue lines using the Telapass app
Since 2019, Telepass has also integrated blue line payment via app, now available in 500 Italian locations, with parking management from smartphones and payment of actual minutes. The service represents one of the main lines of development of the Telepass urban platform, geared towards simplifying the user experience and progressively integrating different mobility services. In-facility parking was the first service integrated into the Telepass platform after electronic toll collection, introduced in 2010.
From parking infrastructure to digital hub
Today, the network counts more than 1,300 affiliated car parks, of which more than 500 are in Italia, with an extended presence also in the main European markets, including France, Spain and Portugal. The service allows users to access, park and pay automatically, without paper tickets or trips to the cash desk. During the event in Florence, Telepass also highlighted the evolution of car parks from simple parking infrastructures to digital hubs, capable of integrating mobility with energy, payments and premium services.

the parking market in 2025 in Italia is estimated to be worth EUR 1.3 billion with a growth rate of 7 % compared to 2024, while around 70 % of digital payments in the sector is driven by electronic payment systems. At the heart of the strategy is an approach based on interoperability, cloud integration and open technologies, with the aim of simplifying management for operators and managers and making the parking payment experience increasingly accessible. The parking and charging solution is called Park&Charge
Park&Charge is the project realised by Telepass in collaboration with ADR Mobility for Rome Fiumicino Airport. Launched in December 2024, it allows Telepass customers to park and recharge their electric or plug-in hybrid car in a dedicated area of the airport's multi-storey car park, with a single tariff that integrates parking and recharging. The service includes reserved parking spaces, access via dedicated lanes, automatic recharging without the need for its own cables and, finally, direct payment via Telepass device.
