Telling the story of light: iGuzzini opens a 1,200 m2 showroom in Recanati
An 'experiential' space, designed to introduce professionals not only to the company's proposals, but also to their possible applications
Market and geopolitical uncertainties do not slow down iGuzzini's propensity to invest in innovation. In fact, the Recanati-based lighting company (part of the Swedish Fagerhult group) has recently inaugurated its new 1,200 square metre company showroom, plus another 280 square metres outdoors.
"It is an innovative project, much more than a simple showroom: a unique space designed to inspire and put the interlocutor at the centre of a flexible experience, oriented to an authentic tailor-made approach," explains Cristiano Venturini, CEO of the Marche-based company. "In our headquarters in Recanati we welcome partners, customers and stakeholders from all over the world to tell iGuzzini in a new light, making the most of its vision, skills and potential. It is the place to explore the good light, which guarantees the best performance and maximum efficiency in every context and for every function.
Much more than a showroom
"The new iGuzzini experiential space promotes the knowledge and technology of light through an immersive experience in a space that investigates the different applications of lighting, from indoor to outdoor, from private to community spaces," reads a company note. The Recanati headquarters welcomes thousands of lighting designers, architects and interior designers every year, as well as professional figures such as system integrators and sustainability managers: the new showroom is therefore a representation of the uniqueness of iGuzzini, which integrates design, connectivity and responsibility through its lighting solutions.
Designed by architect Alfonso Femia and the lighting project by Artec Studio, the new iGuzzini Showroom and the Light Theatre integrate a complete, immersive and concrete experience of light that reproduces all the different application contexts of lighting, through the installation of about 1,200 different lighting products that give visitors the opportunity to physically perceive the effects of light.
Innovation and historical icons
The foyer, dedicated to the reception and lounge area, hosts the iGuzzini Echoes collection, offering re-editions of the company's historical archive: lamps designed by the great masters of design and now updated in their sources, with a view to energy efficiency.
