International recognition for Terme di Saturnia Natural Destination selected as one of the finalists for the Sbid International Design Awards 2025, the world oscars of interior design awarded by the Society of British & International Interior Design.

A design capable of transmitting, also through materials and colours, the experience of regeneration that stems from the millennial spring: water that has been flowing for over 3,000 years, passing through the rocks for 40 years before emerging at a constant temperature of 37.5°C. This is the beating heart of the place, an inexhaustible source of well-being and inspiration also for the architectural style.

"To be among the finalists of the SBID International Design Awards 2025 represents great pride and further confirmation of the value of Terme di Saturnia Natural Destination as an international wellness destination," comments Antonello Del Regno, general manager of Terme di Saturnia. "This recognition rewards our vision of wellness: a total experience, which begins with water but also involves space, silence, design and attention to every detail.

The candidature for the SBID 2025 consolidates a path that in recent years has seen Terme di Saturnia Natural Destination establish itself among the world's excellences in the sector, both for the innovation of the Terme di Saturnia Method and for the quality of its hospitality and holistic approach to wellness: the resort was awarded among the best Destination Spas in the world (1st in Italy and 7th in Europe) by the UK Condé Nast Readers' Choice Awards 2024, and included in the Top 5 Spa Resorts of 2022 and 2023 by Travel + Leisure.

Alongside Terme di Saturnia, also De Montel - Terme Milano, the new urban flagship of the Terme & SPA Italia group, created to revolutionise the concept of wellness in Italy, is on the shortlist in the 'Healthcare & Wellness Design' category, thanks to a project that has restored life and value to a historic Milanese location. Inaugurated in 2025, the Milanese project transformed the former Art Nouveau stables of the De Montel Park into a true urban oasis of wellness spa in the heart of the city. Here too, the signature of the THDP studio has given life to a sensorial space where thermal water is the absolute protagonist, amidst sustainable architecture, natural light and earth-inspired materials.
