Terna, Di Foggia waives severance pay

Terna announces that the outgoing managing director "Giuseppina Di Foggia has expressed her willingness to sign an agreement aimed at waiving her severance indemnity".

The company, the statement explained, 'will issue further communications upon completion of the procedures required by law and in full compliance with corporate governance principles'.

The issue of the request for a severance payment of 7.3 million euro by outgoing CEO Di Foggia, indicated by the Mef for the next chairmanship of Eni, had led to clarifications by the Ministry of the Economy, which had recalled the directives, provided as early as 2023, to limit or exclude indemnities and emoluments to be paid at the end of the mandate (due to natural expiry or voluntary resignation) in the investee companies. And today the president of the Council Giorgia Meloni had invited Di Foggia to choose between the presidency of Eni and Terna's severance pay.
