Tesla and autonomous driving. From being a forerunner of battery-only mobility, Elon Muske's brand is experimenting with the next step in future mobility, which does not seem to be an immediate priority. The introduction of robotaxis in the US is already set for 22 June, when the service will be launched in Austin, using the modified Model Y for the time being to make the service available while waiting for Cybercabs to expand.
Rome with its traffic is a suitable test
.A test in Rome that puts the system to the test, on a route that includes a tangle of narrow alleys and unpredictable traffic, albeit in an iconic setting, from the Capitoline Hill to the Colloseo, which for many users is their everyday life. The footage was shot on a stock Model 3 with the same hardware as the cars that are currently being delivered. The only deference is the use of an engineering test version.
From Autopilot to Autonomous Driving
.Every Tesla sold today is equipped as standard with Autopilot for much safer as well as more comfortable driving. In the future, the eligible vehicles that are for now the Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y will receive progressive upgrades to enable the new driver assistance functions that will be inspired by moving in the set direction that for Tesla is autonomous driving. After all, the brand adopts it as a blueprint: the Future is autonomous.
