The Fay spring-summer collection, between heritage and future

Functionality and sophistication. This is the combination that has made the Fay brand famous throughout the world and that also characterises the new spring-summer 2025 collection. Founded in the 1980s and part of the Tod's group, Fay at its origins was born with the idea of reinterpreting workwear garments, such as classic four-hook jackets, transforming them into urban style icons. Its philosophy is based on the search for high quality materials and handcrafted attention to detail, with an aesthetic that combines practicality and discreet luxury. An identity that is renewed in the new collection, through a balance between heritage and contemporaneity. Iconic Fay garments are reworked with more modern cuts, innovative fabrics and technical details. The colour palette oscillates between natural tones and brighter accents, underlining a versatile and transversal mood.

The discreet charm of the Women's Collection

And it is precisely the balance between elegance and decontracté style that characterises the new Fay Women's Collection. Sophisticated nuances, from total black to milk white, passing through intense green and natural beige, are enriched with material contrasts between matte and iridescent fabrics. Outerwear, which has always been the brand's protagonists, is revisited with more generous fits or slim lines with a sartorial taste. The iconic three-hook jacket is declined on cottons and canvases in light and intense colours, with washes with a used effect or a decisive raw cut with a vintage flavour. The trench coat, brought up to date in a sixties-style A-line, takes on a new sophistication with its version in total black drip-proof duchesse, turning almost into a retro-chic cape.
Layering is a key element of the collection: the trench coat is layered over a padded waistcoat, while the feminine Morning Coat is reinterpreted with a slim fit in cotton gabardine or in a softer version. Deconstructed lines and fluid volumes manifest themselves in the more informal overcoats, proposed on coated fabrics with a sophisticated shiny effect or on ultralight natural weaves, embellished with the characteristic Fay hook, which becomes almost a jewel. The collection is completed by trousers with masculine lines in cotton and linen blends, hyper-feminine Bermuda shorts paired with formal blazers and luminous knitwear enriched with fine lurex threads.

Fay's man, between adventure and innovation

For men, the Fay 2025 collection is dedicated to an urban traveller balanced between metropolitan life and outdoor suggestions. Versatility is the key concept, with classic garments reinterpreted through innovative materials, from coated cotton to stretch nylon, from soft suede to washed linen. The palette plays between cold city hues, such as deep blues and soft greys, and warm shades of mocha and terracotta, enriched by used-effect washes. The Morning Parka, an element that enriches the collection, is inspired by the classic Morning Coat, with raglan sleeves, a wide hood, snap buttons and tartan lining. Proposed in "Pluvia" rainproof fabric or in water resistant coated cotton, it becomes a versatile outerwear suitable for various occasions. The 4-hook, symbol of the brand, is lightened in the Raincoat version, maintaining distinctive details such as the velvet collar, which becomes a discreet touch of elegance. The Field Jacket is redefined in its proportions, becoming longer in the unlined garment-dyed version, perfect as an overshirt, or shorter, with a shirt collar, proposed in linen and coffee-coloured suede. The bomber jacket, the informal outerwear par excellence, is enriched with refined details: in washed linen with a high collar, it takes on a textured look that makes it a sophisticated alternative to the blazer in leisure moments. Practical and refined accessories complete the collection, such as backpacks and bags in technical canvas, perfect for a dynamic and metropolitan style. Fay's new proposal thus confirms itself as a bridge between past and future, keeping the brand's identity intact, but with an attentive look at the needs of the present.
