Turning point in the case Acciaierie d'Italia. Invitalia, the public shareholder of the company, has forwarded this evening to the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy the letter with which to activate the extraordinary administration procedure. Technically, it is an application for the subsequent technical and administrative assessments for the receivership procedure of Acciaierie d'Italia Spa. In essence, it is the gesture with which, precisely, the commissioning of the former Ilva is being carried out.

"We have taken note of the unwillingness of the private partner ArcelorMittal to help ensure business continuity or to dissolve the joint venture in a balanced manner," Invitalia sources said. We are therefore entering a week that will see the government on Monday meet with the companies in the supply chain and the trade unions. And, then, it will be necessary to carry out the entire procedure that will bring the leadership of Acciaierie d'Italia Spa into the hands of three commissioners and, at least temporarily, under state control.
